Heavy vs Light car in the snow... Pulling towards the slush?

Larger cars usually have wider tires which allow more surface area for the slush to push against resulting in a greater effect on the control of the vehicle. When slush piles up in front of the tire momentum is actually your enemy - it will cause a greater degree of interference to aculate before you detect and respond to it, effectively slowing your response time.
