How to stop my page from comming up private?

ook i have myspace 2.0 and i took it off of people having to know my email and name to send me a friends rewuest but yet it still comes up that people having to so that and i dojt know why.. also my page keeps showing up private buti know i took it off from it being private.. do any of you know any other ways beacause i took it off of theses things hey still come up like that and when i message Tom it says something about " THIS USER HAS BEEN REMOVED BECAUSE THEY ONLY ACCEPT MESSAGES FROM FRIENDS:TOM" idk about that either
