Is it wrong to profit from death?

I was able get for free a life's worth of collection as elder people died and the person they were saving this collection for himself died in a plane wreck, So I came into some good things. Old european toys, military memorabilia, RARE books, expensive alcohols and other valuable art renderings and things. I never met the people nothing I got for free has sentemental value personally. Everything someone lives and works for and to be just given away and to a stranger who cannot appreicate this aculation of treasured things like the boy scout comp and knife from earlier last century or Hans Christian Andersen in it original language probably from the time the dead was a child playing in Denmark. Any ways Am I wrong to profit with no relection of this family cherished life and old belonging?
