Pcv valve hose connection?

i just put a new pcv valve on my 95 ford windstar (3.8) and i noticed the hose that connects to the pcv valve was just hanging there and not plugged in anywhere. it looks like it was inserted somewhere cause oil was on it and there it a lip on it. i cant find a hole or location to put it into and i dont wanna drive it with a hole somewhere in the manifold. any idea where it should go or how i can find out?
