What is the cost of keeping/maintaining a clic car compared to a newer car?

Don't know about an escort,but if you want a clic car,you should get a car that will increase in value.I doubt a ford escort will.(1 point for your dad).I do like your thinking though.Parts for an escort will be cheaper.(1 point for you).You are living with the mechanic(another point for you)Your dad won't be driving the car(another point for you).Looks like you have more points.You win,buy that escort tomorrow and have fun.You only live once.
