Well, things probably will never go back to normal. Now that you are both exes and he has another gf, he is probably going to keep himself distanced from you out of respect to his new gf. She probably doesn't appreciate knowing that he is still friends with you, so he is being a good bf by limiting contact with you to try to keep her happy. I'm not saying this is right or fair, but that is probably what is happening right now. Just tell him you are there for him as a friend if he needs you, and leave him alone for now.
