Pcv valve hose connection?

i just put a new pcv valve on my 95 ford windstar (3.8) and i noticed the hose that connects to the pcv valve was just hanging there and not plugged in anywhere. it looks like it was inserted somewhere cause oil was on it and there it a lip on it. i cant find a hole or location to put it into and i dont wanna drive it with a hole somewhere in the manifold. any idea where it should go or how i can find out?

What could be causing extremely rapid heartbeat and dizziness when waking up?

I have just started (past few months) experiencing almost daily episodes of waking up in the middle of the night to extreme dizziness (when still lying down) to the point where I feel I am about to p out. I can feel my heart beating so fast that it's almost vibrating and I can feel it skip and will lose my breath. I also get very nauseous and clammy when this happens and sometimes I have numbness or sharp pains in my hands and feet. The few times I have tried to get out of bed, I ended up on the floor not being able to move for several minutes until my heart rate slowed down some and I wasn't as dizzy. I went to the emergency room for this recently and my heart rate was at 177 when I came in. After giving me some meds to bring it down, they couldn't come up with an explanation. I have a hyperactive thyroid but it's under control with medicine. I also got a holter monitor test which showed tachycardia but my doctor doesn't seem to think anything else needs to be done. The only way I can stop these episodes is by taking Ativan. The next day I am still dizzy and nauseous. I feel Ativan is just a temporary fix and something serious is going on that is being ignored. I am in my 30's and normal weight so this heart stuff is really scaring me. My Dr. is reluctant to refer me to a cardiologist for some reason. Does anyone have suggestions on tests I should insist on having or know what this could be? I am not sure why it's happening so much when I wake up in the middle of the night. Thanks

Can a senegal bichir be really aggressive?

I bought an opaline gourami today and put into my 55 gal tank. My tanks been running for about 2 years. I have 2 plecos, 1 bullshark, 2 senegal bichirs, 1 needle fish, and a couple of . They all have plenty of room, but when I went to check on the newbie 2 hours later I found one of the bichirs eating him behind the house?! I don't know if the gourami died and then was eaten because they have eaten dead fish before, or if they purposely killed him. The gourami was at least 3 inches by 1.5 inch, and the 2 senegals are about 6 inches. Should I not try to add any gouramis, or look for bigger ones? I thought he would be too big for anyone to eat?

What do photogs really mean when they tell a model she has so much potential?

I've just started modeling with a particular photog. I've done 3 shoots with him so far and I am now part of his main group of regular models In spite of this I know I have many flaws. I tend to frown slightly at times (which once caused a huge loss in shots) can look flat, too posed, not sensual enough. While he often says glowing things about the other models up on his site, he hasn't said a great deal about me apart from token politeness like 'she's great, a work in progress'. He tells me he loves shooting me, and of course offers constructive criticism. I know that the other models are more polished, and I wonder why he keeps shooting me when he can see so many flaws. He's talked about how all the other models are so great. I guess what I'm really asking is why photogs may continue shooting and working on a model when there are other more polished ones out there. Breed my own race horse?

I have a fairly well bred TB mare, she is registered with Wetherbys and parentage tested. I am considering breeding her to a racing stallion (he's not won much but it will be fairly cheap) by natural covering. Checked for inbreeding, there isn't any for 5 generations. College before or after US Navy?

I'm a high school senior, and recently turned 18. I want to join the Navy but am unsure whether to enlist straight out of high school (which I'm leaning towards, coming home and then going to college) or entering college first getting my B.A. + NROTC and going in as an officer. Can get generator to start but will not keep running more than a few seconds, any ideas on what is wrong??

I have a Coleman Vantage 8K watt generator w/18hp B&S electric start engine, that will start-up but won't keep running. I've determined that it's getting air and spark and getting fuel from the tank to past the inline filter. It won't start w/o choke and then will fire right away when choke is applied but dies within a second or two whether you turn the choke off or not. This generator was left behind from the previous owner's of the house and has sat for over 2 years w/o fuel in it or w/o being started. I have filled with fresh fuel, checked the oil level and condition, wired to use pick-up battery to start, and cleaned air filter. This generator is used for back-up power to my home and temporary power in my barn and is mounted in the bed of an old p/u that I use on the ranch. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated......

I think you are right about this woman. She sounds like she's just using him because she knows how he feels about her. The only problem is that it's his life and if he wants to let her do this, it's his decision, he's a grown adult. I understand you are concerned about how this is going to affect him once she gets tired of playing with him but in life, you have to take the ups with the downs. You had to learn from your mistakes and so does he. Just because he's in a wheel chair, you can't protect him from everything. You can keep an eye on the situation, as a friend, and if things start getting out of hand, you can stress your concerns to him or to her. If you interfer too much, you could be the looser in this situation. If you cause the end of this thing between them, he will blame you and maybe down deep he really knows what she's up to and don't care. Give him the benefit of the doubt, now, to make his own decisions, but let him know as a friend that you are concerned of what the outcome may be. He needs a friend not a mom.

I'd say half and half. There have always been people who chose not to believe in gods, the ancient greeks and romans had them (atheists, i mean) closer to the end of their civilizations. There are plenty of Hindu's who consider it to be a cultural obligation, but don't really believe in their gods. I think various levels of education and sophistication are involved as well. Also, people don't like being told they are doing something wrong. When someone comes along saying repent, what you are doing is going to get you in some hot water, naturally, you won't want to listen to them, just like kids don't like to listen when parents tell them to stop behavior. Dead Creek NEED Help! Enviornment Problem?

Yesterday while walking by the creek close to my house, i saw that all of the crayfish and earthworms were dead. I counted at least 28 just right there, and the earth worms are all white and littler the substrate. I know crayfish indicate the health of a creek and can be used for biomonitoring. A few details: There's a woman I heard about on the news who is about to lose her home if she can't come up with $3,000 in legal fees from her HOA foreclosing on her home for nonpayment of HOA fees. How can I keep my feet together in a back hand spring?

I've been cheering for quite awhile now, and my tumbling skills have been off an on. I'm a fairly decent tumbler, lots of power and stuff, but its still my weak spot. I want to say, back in Feb I noticed this problem. In my back hand spring, I tend to pop my left foot out, causing me to go crooked, and its now become a habit. I have one, and the reason I have him is that he hared his cagemate so much she dropped her tail. So I would be worried that your 2 will not have enough space in a 20 gal and there will be stress and competition. That's a lot of plants/cage furniture for that size tank, you'll just have to arrange things to see how they fit--I have 2 pieces of driftwood, a vine, a live potted plant, 2 hides (warm and cool sides), and a food and water dish, and it barely fits. Plus the more stuff you have in there, the less you will see your cresties. They are nocturnal, so they start getting active once it starts getting dark. A great way to see them is to use a red light--doesn't disturb their activity but gives enough light that you can watch them. You'll have to regularly wash your repti carpet.... I've used it before, now I just use paper towels. I think your intentions are good I'm just not sure how it will work out--but again, you'll just have to play with the arrangement of things and see what fits, and then be very careful to monitor your 2 and be ready to separate them if needed, or perhaps a much larger tank. 10 week old kitten seems depressed or maybe a little stressed?

My Siamese had a litter of four kittens, two of which have sold recently and gone to good homes. All kittens have been wormed, vaccinated and vet checked. It's Fall again, and here in Georgia around where I live, people go nuts at the opportunity to pile up leaves and set them ablaze. So much so, that it's genuinely impossible to drive more than a quarter of a mile down the road without hitting a haze of smoke -- not to mention that my own home is often times engulfed by plumes of smoke, and I can smell it inside. This is a common, daily thing -- generally multiple times a day -- and I know it can't be healthy. I'm an athlete who's in great shape, practices Martial Arts daily, runs daily, weight lifts, and the whole nine yards, and I'm just curious if the exposure to this smoke during the Fall months can either a.) bring about any health ailments and/or cause particulate matter to collect in my lung tissue, or b.) diminish my overral lung capacity and therefore reduce my performance as an athlete. In the end, I really don't see anything I can do to reduce or otherwise cut down on my exposure, so I'd just like to understand the damages that my body is sustaining (if any). Thanks.

Potty Training?

Okay I am in need of some help. I have a 2 1/2 year old girl who does not want to potty. I have tried just undies and she still refues I have sat her on the potty for 45 minutes plus and no results i have done the every 15-20 minute things and still nothing I have tried treats can anyone offer any advice on this. I have scammers calling my work?

About a month ago a scammer calling from New York called my work and told me I was having charges pressed against me for having a pay day loan that has never been payed for and that they were going to come to my work and have me arrested and I would be fired if I didn't give them every bit of my information and pay them that day. I didn't give them any information, I knew they were a scam, so I told them so and told them not to call my place of business again. I looked up their number and sure enough there were a bunch of complaints against that number for the same issue. I haven't heard anything from them again, but today I got another call to my work, from California, for the same type of thing, not all the same information but along the same lines, looked up the number again, and sure enough it is a scamming number again. Obviously some how my information got put out on the internet, the only thing I can think of that could ociate my job with my name is when I was applying for student loans online and they asked for my work information. In any case, how can I get my work number off of the internet or unattached to my name. I don't care if these people call my cell phone, but my work is out of the question. If I were to put my work's phone number on the do no call list would these people not call, is it the same thing as a telemarketer? I need some help... this is unacceptable.

How to deal with a crazy drunk mother in law?

My live-in boyfriend and I have been together for 10 years this coming April. We have lived together for the past 8 years. I guess you could say our relationship is perfect...other than is controling, psychotic, not to mention alchoholic mother in law. The only fights we ever have are about his mother, and the way she treats our relationship, as well as the way she treats me. In the past 10 years she has called me every name in the book, , drama-queen, slut, fat-***....which I am non of these things. She drinks from 11am to about 1 or 2 am some nights. She treats her daugter (my future sister-in-law) horribly, not to mention my boyfriends niece also gets the brunt of this womans wrath! There was a confrontation back in November (12 days before Thanksgiving) between her and I. My Uncle ped away in Ocotber and my Grandmother is 83 years old and took his death pretty hard. I was the one making all the arrangements for his final resting, I felt that night, like I had been so busy for the past couple weeks that I hadnt had time to grieve. At this point I wasnt aware that my mother-in-law still harbored ill feelings toward me, so I felt like I could open up to her....big mistake!! She bit my head off telling me how since I hadnt talked about him to her in the past ten years, that I was over-reacting and acting like a drama queen. The fact of the matter was, was that my Uncle wasnt a good person, and I didnt see him on a regular basis, but that doesnt mean I didndt love him. It resulted into a huge argument and with her calling me a Skitzophrenic and that she was tired of my family drama...family drama= my uncle's ping. I never went to Thanksgiving, My boyfriend went and had dinner with his family and then met me at my moms for our dinner. I didnt see her till Christmas Eve at my boyfriends Grandmothers house, everythig went fine, I basically kept my distance from her, but made sure that when I got there, I walked up to her, hugged her and told her Merry Christmas. We spent a couple hours with them and his faily ohn Christmas Day and for New Years, we had our next fight!! I had decided to have dinner at our house for my mother, step-father and brother, she called the night before and asked if we had any plans. My boyfriend told her that we were just staying home and that my mom was coming for dinner. She hung up on her son!!! She then called back 2 hours later and told my boyfriend that I was ruining her family and that I am nothing but a !! Bottom line, my boyfriends birthday was Feb. 1st so we had to have her over to our house for his birthday. She of course, was on her best behavior, but then for Superbowl, the mother-in-law from hell reared her ugly head again! After everyone had left and we had a AMAZING night, what with the Packers winning the Superbowl :) She was out on my courtyard with me smoking a cigarette and proceeded to tell me that my relationship to her son doesnt mean anything because we arent married and we have no children. I told her that our relationship is none of her buisness...we are adults ( 26 & 28) and that I didnt appriciate what she was saying to me in my home and I got up and went inside to where my boyfriend and my father in law to be where...she came in shortly after me, saying how she cant talk to me because I am a drama queen...I told her that we are adults and she can not control our lives and that if she didnt like it she could leave my hhouse. She laughed in my face basically and told me that she was his mother and she did have control over her son. My boyfriend threw her out and hasnt talked to her since. I dont know what to do anymore! I feel that everyine has thier breaking point. When she used to yell at me, I would just cry an run away. But I cant do that anymore, something inside of me snaps and I have to tell this woman exactly how I feel when she attacks me like that! I am so happy that I have a boyfriend who sticks up for and our relationship. The fact of the matter is we would be married if we had the money for the type of wedding we want, but we are just saving and saving for when that day comes.
